Videography Project Intern

The Saint Paul Area Synod is hiring an intern for a communications project in the summer of 2021. The intern will serve as the project lead for the production of a video diary, preserving the voices and stories of rostered ministers, who have served the church for fifty or more years, in preparation for the 2021 Honorees Luncheon in mid-September. With faith communities experiencing a generational transition, the video project will capture the wisdom of clergy who were ordained in the twentieth century and who have continued to serve into the twenty-first century. Additional assignments include filming video highlights of congregations across the synod and blogs reflecting the intern’s learning and experience. This is a good opportunity for someone with an interest in gaining experience in communications and video editing. Flexible hours and remote work make it an exciting complement to existing summer employment. This position reports to Mary Smith, director of communications. The anticipated start date is July 1, 2021.
