Christian T. Collins Winn


ADJUNCT PROFESSOR

Christian T. Collins Winn, PhD (he/him/his) is the Teaching Minister and Theologian-in-Residence at Meetinghouse Church in Edina, MN. He received his PhD in Theological and Religious Studies from Drew University in 2006. He is an internationally recognized expert on the theology of Karl Barth, the life and thought of the Blumhardts, the pietist and radical pietist movements, and Religious Socialism in the 19th and 20th century. His ongoing research projects are shaped by an interest in historical context, political engagement, and the generative and liberative claims of Christian theology and ethics. An ordained minister in the American Baptist Churches (USA), Collins Winn is the author, editor, or co-editor of numerous articles, essays, and books, including, most recently, Karl Barth and Comparative Theology (Fordham University Press, 2019), and Jesus, Jubilee, and the Politics of God’s Reign (Eerdmans, 2023).
