Visions of Divine’s Love: An Artist Conversation

On February 2, Rev. Dr. Justin Sabia-Tanis, United’s associate professor and the director of the social transformation program, will moderate a conversation between the author and illustrator of the book Visions of Divine’s Love: A Drag Theopoetic (AC Books). The author is United alum Max Brumberg-Kraus (’20) and the illustrator is our own Dr. Jennifer Awes Freeman, associate professor of and program director for theology and the arts.
Excerpts of the book will be on display in the United Gallery, and the conversation will cover how the project came to be, how Max and Jennifer collaborated, and the outcomes of their work. After the conversation, there will be time for audience Q & A.
