T. Michael Rock

Director of Contextual Education and Adjunct Professor of Practical Theology

Rev. T. Michael Rock has been an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ since 1996 and until recently served as one of the Co-Pastors and Teachers at Robbinsdale Parkway United Church of Christ in Robbinsdale, Minnesota. T. Michael is also an activist and experienced trainer in nonviolence, civil disobedience, and sexuality education.

He has served on the faculty at the Center for Congregational Spirituality and already teaches several courses as an adjunct faculty member at United. He leads Centering Prayer and Contemplative Practice workshops and retreats, is trained in Reiki Healing I and II, and Magnified Healing. He has a special interest in male spirituality and healing through trauma.

T. Michael has volunteered for several community nonprofit boards related to social transformation, nonviolence and interfaith dialogue. He has been a Spiritual Director for over 20 years, and has served as prison and police chaplain.
