All Applicants

  1. Must be a graduate of a regionally accredited undergraduate institution and have secured a BA or BS degree. Most undergraduate schools will include accreditation notices on their website. Otherwise, you can search for the accreditation status of any US college or university at the Department of Education’s Office of Postsecondary Education.
  2. Must have earned a grade point average of at least 2.75 on a scale where A=4.0 while completing their bachelors degree.
  3. Must demonstrate strong analytical and reflective thinking and writing skills.

Must have vocational and academic goals that are compatible with United’s vision and mission.

DMin (Doctor of Ministry) Applicants

  1. Must have earned a BA or BS (as above) as well as an MDiv degree or equivalent from an ATS-accredited institution.
  2. Must have earned a grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale while completing their MDiv or equivalent degree.
  3. Must have significant ministerial experience that enables the applicant to engage as a ministry peer with other DMin students.

International Applicants

  1. Must fulfill the requirements for all applicants (and the DMin requirement if applicable).
  2. Must supply a letter of financial support indicating how the applicant will be able to fund costs such as housing, books, and other living expenses. This letter will help us assess the applicant’s eligibility for financial assistance. Financial assistance is unfortunately not available for housing costs.
  3. Must provide evidence of English language proficiency (e.g. official TOEFL iBT English test scores)
  4. Must submit a scanned copy of the applicant’s passport
