North Congregational United Church of Christ (also known as Just North UCC), located in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking a full time senior pastor.
North Church is characterized by its strong Congregational tradition; its extravagant welcome to all; its Open and Affirming (ONA) status for over 25 years; and its commitment to social justice.
We are seeking a pastor to walk alongside us, to challenge us, and to support us as we care for each other, our neighbors near and far, and our Earth. Our chosen candidate will have a proven understanding of how to plan, guide and support efforts focused on social justice initiatives, diverse membership growth, congregational care, spiritual growth, long-term strategic planning, stewardship, and community outreach. Our ideal candidate will collaborate with support staff and lay member leaders to reinvigorate members, engage the younger generation, encourage intergenerational activities, and help meet congregational care needs and visitation.
