Dr. Hollingsworth’s research interests lie at the intersection of Christian spirituality, historical and philosophical theology, and the neuropsychology of human relationships, emotions, and development. She has held teaching posts in religious studies and theology at Boston University School of Theology, Loyola University Chicago, and Berry College (Rome, GA). In addition, she was the recipient of a full-time, in-residence Research Fellowship at the Center of Theological Inquiry (Princeton, NJ) during the 2013-2014 academic year. Prof. Hollingsworth is co-author of The Holy Spirit (Eerdmans, 2008), and her articles have appeared in such journals as Zygon: Journal of Religion and Science, Modern Theology, the European Journal for Philosophy of Religion, and Religion, Brain, and Behavior. She lives in the north metro area of the Twin Cities with her spouse, Ryan, and infant son, Bennett, born in May 2017.
