Amplifying Black Narratives: The Creation of Black Narratives

Rev. Karen Hutt, Vice President for Student and Community Engagement, sends along information about an upcoming virtual event in the community. “Amplifying Black Narratives: The Creation of Black Narratives” will be held Thursday, Nov. 18, 7-8:15 PM CT. It will feature writers Larry McKenzie and Sagirah Shahid in a discussion with moderator Dara Beevas. They will talk about representation feeding their creativity, sharing to give voice to the voiceless, how they find their narratives, and supporting writers and creators of all styles and ages.
