Join us for an evening of storytelling around the theme of spirits — whether stories of spirits you’ve lifted, broken, conveyed, imbibed, conjured, or encountered. Each storyteller will have five minutes to share a story that is true and relates to the evening’s theme. Feel free to RSVP in advance to jawes-freeman@unitedseminary.edu or just show up! We’ll pull names from a hat to determine order. And of course, you are not required to tell a story in order to attend! The evening will be recorded and made available as a podcast.

In preparation for the event, United’s own Alaina Hoffman—actor, improv expert, preacher, storyteller, and equestrian—will host an arts lunch on “How to Tell a Story” on Tuesday, October 20th, 12-1pm CST.
