On Wednesday, May 26, 5:30-7:30pm CT, join Minnesota Interfaith Power & Light and other communities of spiritual practice for a special night of Soup Singing to Stop Line 3.
Connect from your kitchen to cook your favorite soup while learning songs for Water. This event is a fundraiser for Camp Migizi!
The second hour of the event is intended to help prepare attendees for the Treaty People Gathering on June 5-8, including time to reflect in affinity groups on our responsibility to uphold the treaties and be humble as we come to Anishinaabe territory to rise for Mother Earth, to protect Water, Indigenous lifeways, and future generations.
Whether or not you can make it to the June gathering up north, United community members are invited to join a United breakout room at the event to participate in these important conversations.
Head to tinyurl.com/SoupSinging for more info on the flow of the event and to register!
Soup Singing is an ongoing social transformation project of United student Doe Hoyer.
