United’s soon-to-be-graduating Social Transformation students have done incredible projects, all furthering the work of justice. We’ll have brief presentations of each project, highlighting the learnings that came from them, with an opportunity for you to ask questions. Topics include: a creative magazine that uplifts children’s voices; effective social justice groups at a local parish; a Radical Death series that challenges both racism and our ideas about death; the planting of an LGBTQ affirming church in Southern California; and spiritual care for young people as a means of social change. Presenters include  Trista Eazel, Gabrielle Hesse, Joan Howe-Pullis, Emily Kindelspire, and Emily Stacken, with hosts Drs. Gary Green and Justin Sabia-Tanis.
