Community-wide Trip to Water Protector Camps

August 19, 2021 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
United will be hosting a trip alongside interfaith community partners to northern Minnesota to the Indigenous-led Line 3 resistance camps on Thursday, August 19. In the spirit of service, healing, and sacred solidarity, we will caravan to a family-friendly camp for a day of prayer, learning, and witness.
What: This day trip will be designed to be safe for anyone to join and set their own pace and participation, though will likely involve being mostly outside with some walking and rustic conditions. There may be optional opportunities to stay through the weekend for camping, paddling, and potentially additional actions in solidarity. Details tbd.
Who: All are welcome: please share this invitation with family, faith communities, and comrades.
Connect: We will also be hosting learning and solidarity events and opportunities for distance folks or those unable to join this trip. Stay tuned!
