Buddhist Psychology and the Teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh for Spiritual Caregiving

Explore what it means, psychologically, to dwell in the Ultimate Reality and how mindfulness promotes psychological health and the cultivation of a non-anxious presence. You will be invited to practice teaching mindfulness and mindful meditation for spiritual care.

Pamela Ayo Yetunde, Asst. Professor for Pastoral Care and Counseling and Director of the Interreligious Chaplaincy Program at United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities, will offer United’s third workshop on Buddhist spiritual/pastoral care on Friday, June 1st from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday, June 2nd from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please note that participation in previous workshops is not required.
