In the Christian tradition, the season of Lent is a 40-day period commemorating the events leading up to the death of Jesus Christ. Oftentimes, Lent is regarded as a time for sacred and meaningful reflection on our own spirituality and spiritual journeys. This Lenten season, join Dr. Sabia-Tanis and Dr. Chapman Lape for a Lenten Bible Study. We will communally engage in Christian theological reflection using resources such as A Women’s Lectionary for the Whole Church by Wilda C. Gafney as well as the “Liberation Bible Study” podcast curated by More Light Presbyterians. The Lenten Bible Study will meet both virtually and in-person from 4:45 PM-5:45 PM on Tuesdays beginning March 8 through April 12. All are welcome.
