In this arts lunch, Max Brumberg-Kraus will present on the theological implications of the genre “FolkHorror.” In analyzing a cariety of sources, including the films The VVitch (2015), Antichrist (2009), The Wicker Man (1973), and the children’s animated television show Over the Garden Wall, we will focus on the theme of cosmic and spiritual dis-/re-order as exemplified by the genre’s most peculiar characters.
