United is thrilled to announce an artist talk with Ricardo Levins Morales. Previously scheduled for March of 2020, this talk was delayed by COVID. Since then, a gallery show of the artist’s work has lived in the halls of United, a reminder of the activism to which we are called, even when we are not together. Levins Morales is an artist and organizer based in Minneapolis who uses his art as a form of political medicine to support individual and collective healing from the injuries and ongoing reality of oppression. Join this live–and socially distanced–discussion with the artist, along with United professor Gary Green and United alum Sheryl Schwyhart, via Zoom. Details and registration information to come.
