  • Contemplative Prayer Gathering
    8:00 AM-9:00 AM
    2020.05.06

As you know, six members of the United community visited Fr. Richard Rohr at his Center for Action and Contemplation back in March, where they participated in Fr. Rohr’s contemplative prayer session. They are now bringing elements of this practice back to our United community.
All are invited to a shared Contemplative Gathering at 8:00 a.m. CST every Wednesday morning to gather together in silence and sit in communal contemplation. This is an opportunity to find grounding in the moment, and to share in that grounding energy with similarly self-directed explorers. The last ten minutes of the session are devoted to sharing aloud prayers that have been submitted during the week.

  • Interfaith Unity Iftar
    7:30 PM-8:30 PM
    2020.05.16

Gandhi Mahal, MNIPL, and interfaith partners invite you to attend our annual Interfaith Unity Iftar on Saturday, May 16 during Ramadan, a season of fasting and reflection for Muslims all over the world.

This year, we’ll be breaking bread virtually with our Muslim brothers and sisters, and people of all faiths are invited to attend. We welcome you to enjoy a delicious meal by Gandhi Mahal, delivered by MNIPL staff.

Please register to join us for our virtual Interfaith Unity Iftaar and share a meal with someone in need.

MNIPL seeks to reduce carbon while simultaneously building equity and justice in our communities. Interfaith cooperation is an essential piece of our work. We are an interfaith organization, made up of people of faith and conscience that represent diverse faith and spiritual traditions.

In this time of uncertainty and division, it is ever critical that we build bridges across lines of difference, and join together to take action around our common values: our love for the world, and our desire for justice for every being.

If you have questions, email Whitney Terrill at whitney@mnipl.org.
