    Let’s Talk About It & Dance

    Family Friendly, all ages queer* dance party, Hosted by Lark The Consent Faerie. Dance party including a performance & active demonstrations modeling affirmative consent in a body positive space. With peer educators from local clinics, independent sexuality educators and support from Kaleo Center; this event will be accessible for teens and families with younger children.

    Sustainability goal is to connect queer, POC, and other marginalized youth with local artists, performers, organizations, programs and build community that shares messages of self-worth, body positivity, and positive sexuality education in the Twin Cities metro and surrounding areas.

    Donations welcomed to help pay performers for their art and talent.

    No one turned away for lack of funds

    Accessibility- The Case building has a ramp into the building with automatic doors. There will be a quiet room available for use. Restrooms include all gender, single stall and gendered. There is an indoor atrium that leads to suite 140, on the left (west) side.

    If taking Metro Transit, the closest light rail stop is the Westgate Station on the Green Line. The Case building is also are near bus routes 63, 67, 87 and 30.

    Parking, use the south parking area to access the building. You will have to pass the building to get to the south parking lot.

    *Queer meaning those that identify as LGBTQIA+. Creating a space that affirms identities and welcomes allies

    The purpose is to create an inclusive, body positive, sexuality positive, safer space to provide education and lift voices of activism while building community.

    Mission- Bringing family friendly spaces together that are Consent centric, weaving inclusiveness through the entire event is a focus. Leading body education and activism in within community. Raising awareness for things we believe in as community- Kindness, all are welcome here, teaching tolerance, radical consent.

    What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

    Please bring items for self-care, including snacks. No food will be provided at this event

    Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

    No ticket needed. Please, bring cash to donate to the performers

    Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn’t match the person who attends?

    Absolutely okay if names do not match. Be your authentic self
