Phil Romine, M.Div. class of 2016

Phil aspires to become a pastor and go on to doctoral studies, perhaps in historical theology. “I think when it comes to interfaith dialogue, United has given me the abilities and the tools to engage in it meaningfully as a Christian. And has also given me a basic orientation to how people of other faith traditions are going to engage in that dialogue as well. What they’re going to bring to the table, and the ability to actually be able to listen to them and engage them in that dialogue. For me, that hope for interfaith dialogue, and how it’s actually happening right now is integral to efforts to advance the causes of social justice.”
