United Seminarians for Reproductive Justice
Day and Date: Friday, November 15
Times: 11:30 AM-1:00 PM
Location: Small Dining Room
Are you committed to reproductive justice (RJ)? Do you believe we can cultivate common ground that honors the complexity of all of life as we support women and their personal healthcare decisions?
Reproductive issues like pregnancy, childbearing and parenting can be polarizing, but they don't have to be. And we as current and future faith leaders can use a warm community to hold and guide us in this holy work.
Students, faculty and staff are invited to join such a community on Friday, November 15, for an informal gathering over lunch. We will get to know each other and share stories about what draws us to this justice work. The Rev. Kelli Clement '10 (pictured), executive director of the Minnesota Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice, will attend and have materials available to help us learn what's current in the RJ movement.
Please bring your lunch or purchase from the Context Café. Dessert and beverages will be provided!
It would be helpful if you could RSVP so we have enough goodies and so Chef Michelle knows if extra lunch should be prepared.
Please contact Terri Burnor, 651.324.2343, to RSVP or with any questions or comments.
Thanks for your support of reproductive justice!
