	Master of Divinity Master of Arts in Religious Leadership

	Doctor of Ministry
	Non-degree Status

1. Submit an application form, self-assessment, vocational statement, immunization form, updated resume, and the application fee ($50.00 non-refundable).
2. Secure a total of four letters of reference from the following categories:
   • professor or academic mentor,
   • pastor or spiritual mentor,
   • employer, and
   • personal (non-relative).
3. Provide official academic transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended.
4. Complete a writing sample.
5. Have a matriculation interview, during which materials submitted for application and educational plans are discussed.

The following is the process for applying for the Master of Arts degree:

1. Submit an application form, self-assessment, vocational statement, immunization form, updated resume, and the application fee ($50.00 non-refundable).

1. Complete the Diploma in Advanced Theological Studies application for admission and scholarship.
2. Provide a copy of all academic records including a statement by the school official regarding the U.S. equivalent of the highest level of academic achievement (e.g., Bachelor of Arts, three years of college, one year of graduate study, etc.).
3. Non-native speakers of English must supply a copy of the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) test score.
4. Supply five letters of reference.
5. Supply a report of a recent medical examination by a physician approved by a sponsoring church official.
6. Supply the completed and signed Scholarship Agreement form, if applying for the full Campbell Scholarship.
7. Provide a letter from an endorsing church official, as described on the Scholarship Agreement form.

Application deadline: December 1 for the following academic year.

The following is the process for applying for the Certificate in Theological and Religious Studies and the Certificate in Leadership Toward Racial Justice:

1. Submit an application form and a vocational statement.
2. File an immunization form.
3. Pay an application fee ($25.00 non-refundable).
4. Secure a letter of reference.
5. Provide official academic transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended. 
6. Write a one- to two-paragraph statement of purpose.
7. Contact the Office of Admissions to compete a writing sample.

The following is the process for applying for the Doctor of Ministry:

1. Complete an application form and pay applicable fees.
2. Supply official academic transcripts from all previous college and graduate work.
3. Supply self-assessment and biographical statement (described on application form).
4. Supply four recommendations: one from a ministry supervisor (e.g., judicatory executive, bishop, senior pastor, program supervisor); one from a lay person in the applicant’s congregation or agency (preferably a governing board chair or similar role); one from a clergy or other professional peer; and one from a professor who knows the applicant’s work well.

1. Complete steps 1-3 above.
2. Supply two recommendations: one from a ministry supervisor (e.g., judicatory executive, bishop, senior pastor, program supervisor); and one from a lay person in the applicant’s congregation or agency (preferably a governing board chair or similar role).

If a Module 1 student later decides to continue with the program, he/she must provide the additional application materials listed for the D.Min. program as a whole.

Application deadline: Students seeking entry to the D.Min. program or Module 1 may apply anytime during the year. Admission decisions will be made as applications are received until spaces in the first seminar are filled. All application requirements must be completed by September 1 each year. Earlier applications are strongly encouraged.

3. Pay an application fee ($25.00 non-refundable).

Writing a vocational statement is optional. Students may matriculate into a degree program by completing additional application requirements.

Application deadline: One week prior to the beginning of each term.
