Please come down and enjoy the food and ambience of the Context Café. Located on the lower level of the seminary, the café is open to the public, and we welcome guests. Meals are excellent and reasonably priced for the community to enjoy.
Our new chef at United is Amy Nadeau, a personal chef and certified nutritional therapy practitioner. Amy also has more than 30 years in the restaurant industry as a chef and pastry chef, including cooking and baking in the kitchens of Restaurant Levain, The Wedge, Collins House Catering in Madison, Wis., and Café Terra Cotta in Tucson, Ariz.
Come fall 2014, Chef Amy will post the weekly menu in the caféteria, as well as in Monday Morning. Meals will be à la carte and offer a variety of options; leftovers and other made-from-scratch items will be available for purchase in the café’s stand-up cooler. Chef Amy will also continue Chef Michelle’s time-honored tradition of offering snacks during mid-afternoon class breaks, including warm chocolate chip cookies and other sweet and savory treats.
Currently, classes are not in session, and the caféteria is closed. We hope you’ll join us in the café in the fall, and welcome Chef Amy!
