Lydia Huttar Brown is a priest in the Episcopal Church in Minnesotan. Before ordination, she worked for 13 years as a director of Christian education, discovering and sharing the power of stories to teach and to transform. She earned her Master of Divinity from United, where she received the Kapp Memorial Award for outstanding work in preaching. She is a former co-chair of the ECMN Liturgy and Music Commission. She has taught liturgy courses and workshops at United and at the ECMN School For Formation and is part of the editorial and writing team for the liturgical resource books Changes: Prayers and Services Honoring Rites of Passage and Enriching Our Worship 5: Liturgies and Prayers Related to Childbearing, Childbirth, and Loss.
