Create Your Future
Some people coming to United know exactly what they want to do when they graduate, but many are not sure where their path leads. Consider United a place to explore all facets of your call. Let us be part of your journey to discover and transform your spirit.
Seminary education all over the country is undergoing exciting change as it strives to keep pace with an evolving society. Ministries today may have nothing to do with Sunday mornings or hymns. They are as likely to unfold in an artist’s studio, board meeting, lecture hall, hospice facility or on a street corner as in a sanctuary.
We have designed a curriculum to be as flexible and responsive to societal needs as it is to your interests and goals, while meeting accreditation standards. Your studies will challenge you intellectually, academically and spiritually. You will be grounded in progressive approaches to theology, encouraged to investigate your path from among a choice of concentrations and prepared to assume leadership roles in your church, your workplace and your community.
Together with a passionate faculty, you will learn to integrate academic knowledge, practical skill, spiritual practice and ethical commitment into a vibrant and relevant expression of your call.
