Education for Transformation
Transformation is a way of life at United. We hear about it from students consistently: they leave here transformed.
And that’s good news for the world. Empowered by their education, graduates are out there transforming society. They have the knowledge and skills to be leaders wherever their lives take them—be it in the church, the classroom or the boardroom.
We are grounded in and sustained by the conviction that the Christian message is powerful, relevant and transformative for the 21st century. Moreover, we are committed to interfaith dialogue, the work of reconciliation, explorations of faith through theology and the arts and the education of leaders who will inspire people to work toward a more loving, just and peaceful world.
United is also a place to come to nurture your spirit. For people not committed to a degree program, there are opportunities to earn certificates or audit a class; and Community Programs, open to everyone, offer a way to look at your spiritual needs in new and exciting ways.
We’re here to serve you on your spiritual journey. Explore the possibilities of transformation.
