Anne Keely, associate professor of Christian Education
and congregational spirituality;
Presbyterian clergy mentor students in well-chosen field
placements;
Presbyterian History and Polity is taught each year by Presbyterian
faculty;
Elective courses on John Calvin and Reformed theological
traditions are offered each year;
A study of the Book of Confessions is available as
part of preparation for ordination;
As a significant community within United,
there are opportunities for Presbyterian students to engage
one
another;
All students at United have access to
the seminary’s generous program of financial
aid. In addition, the Mary Bigelow McMillan scholarship
program provides up to full tuition for entering Presbyterian
students;
Presbyterian faculty, clergy from the wider church, and
students share in the leadership of community worship;
The Presbyterian Hymnal is one of the seminary’s
hymnals; and
Presbyterian graduates serve the church in a wide range
of ministries throughout the country.
