SEMINARY WELCOMES 7th PRESIDENT

Mary E. McNamara

The Reverend Mary McNamara began in the role of president at United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cites on July 1, 2009. Prior to coming to United, Mary was the executive vice president of Union Theological Seminary in New York City. She grew up in Cambridge, Minn., is a graduate of Carleton College and Harvard Divinity School, and is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). One of the many gifts Mary brings to the seminary is her deep understanding of churches, theological education, and not-for-profit administration.
