Requirements of the Concentration
The following requirements enable students
to reach the learning goals of the concentration. Five 3-credit
classes as follows:

Educational Goals of the Concentration
The excellent graduate of the Leadership Toward Racial Justice concentration of the United M.Div. degree program:
- has an understanding of the dynamics of racism and white
privilege, especially in their systemic and institutional
manifestations;
- has knowledge of the experience and religious traditions
of at least two communities of color; and
- is enabled and motivated to be an effective agent of change
for the elimination of racism in church and society.
