Student Housing

The student apartment building, Huenemann House, contains 21 units, 18 of which are available for single students, couples, and single parents with one child. The building is smoke free and includes two lounges, two study rooms (one with two computers and a printer), wireless Internet access, storage space, and laundry facilities.

There are many options for convenient, affordable off-campus housing; a list is available from the director of housing.

Apartments

Unfurnished apartments are available for rent. Every campus apartment is equipped with an electric stove, refrigerator, closets, and tiled bath with tub/shower. The seminary has a limited supply of furnishings, which are available to students at no charge. Utilities and basic cable television are included in the monthly rent.

Accommodations for Commuters

Three apartments are reserved for commuter students who need overnight lodging for one to three nights a week. This space may be reserved for a single night or a semester of scheduled nights. Cooking facilities are available in the overnight apartments.

Housing Policies

Students renting a seminary apartment are required to sign a lease for a minimum of the nine-month school term. Summer stays can be arranged as well. Two cats per apartment is allowed, as are animals trained to assist physically disabled persons. A full statement of the housing policy is furnished to renters.

Housing Application

Application for a campus apartment, along with a non-refundable application fee, should be made when a student is accepted for admission to the seminary. Upon approval, the student will need to make a security, damage, cleaning, and key deposit. These deposits will be refunded if the apartment is vacated in satisfactory condition and the keys are returned at the end of the school year.
